Most infrared photos are very interesting as there is a false-color or black and white image effect that seems surreal and dream like. The lurid appearances of these photos are known a Wood Effect. Most infrared photos have foliage as a subject because it best shows the effect of infrared technique. Other usual attributes of infrared photos are dark skies and strong reflections of waters.
